Traditionally, Mexican labor law has been characterized by its high degree of protection for workers, which is commonly seen as one of the most important achievements of the revolutionary movements at the beginning of the twentieth century. Consequently, labor laws and the committees with jurisdictional functions on the matter generally have a tendency to favor workers and syndicates.
